Welcome to my first day!

Today is my first day at school and also my first day in A Level media studies class.
Last year I did my AS Level of media studies and I love it, so now I am going to start with my second year.
This year is going to be more difficult than last year but with effort and enthuasim  it will be a lovely job.
Our task for this year is to create a film promotion package for a new film, two trailers, together with a website  for the film and a poster for the film.
I will do my best in order to everybody enjoys my work.

Choosen the genre

In order to be fully prepared to choose the genre of our movie, we are going to investigate about different film genres.

Heres is my work:

1. Action: Action film is a genre wherein physical action takes precedence in the storytelling. Is one of the fiction-writing authors use to present fiction. Includes movement, usually dramatic as opposed to arbitrary movements such as standing up. Example: Fast and furious.
   
2. Adventure: Adventure film is a genre that revolves around the conquests and explorations of a protagonist. Are exciting stories, with new experiences or exotic locales. Its an exciting undertaking involving risk and physical danger, forms the main storyline. Example: Hollywood adventures.
   
3. Comedy: Comedy is a genre of film that uses humor as a driving force. These films are designed to entertain the audience through amusement, and most often work by exaggerating characteristics of real life for humorous effect. Example: Hangover
   
4. Drama: Drama film is a genre that relies on the emotional and relational development of realistic characters. Is the specific mode of narrative, tipically fictional represented in performance. Example: Titanic
   
5. Horror: Horror film is a genre that aims to create a sense of fear, panic, alarm, and dread for the audience. Example: Room 33
   
6. Musicals: The musical film is a film genre in which songs sung by the characters are interwoven into the narrative, sometimes accompanied by dancing. A Musical interweaves vocal and dance performances into the narrative of the film. Example: High school musical.
   
   
   
7. Science fiction: Science Fiction film is a genre that incorporates hypothetical, science-based themes into the plot of the film. Science fiction is a genre of fiction in which the stories often tell about science and technology of the future. Example: Avatar
   
8. War: war film is a film genre concerned with warfare, typically about naval, air or land battles in the twentieth century, with combat scenes central to the drama. Example: The las rescue.
   
9. Western: Western Film is a genre that revolves around stories primarily set in the late 19th century in the American Old West. They are the major defining genre of the American film industry. Example: Unforgiven.
   

FINAL DECISION
After doing some research on film genres we have decide that we are going to choose action.
