Analising a scene of an action movie

Today Im going to analyse a scene from an action movie called Fast and Forious 7.

Firstly, Im going to describe the camerawork:

• The use of Master shot to show where the sit of the characters is positioned.
• The use of aereal shot from the two cars at the road.
• The use of close up to the main character when he is looking at the family which is in the beach.
• The use of zoom to the main character to show emotions. In his face we can deduce that he is remembering past remembers.

Secondly, Im going to describe the use of editing:

• The use of shot reverse shot during the conversation between the characters.
• The use of eyeline match when he is looking at the family that is in the beach.
• The use of disolve when the man remember scenes that happen to him in the film.

Thirdly, Im going to describe the use of sound:

• The use non-diegetic sound using sound mix and sound motiff. I can observe the sound mix when the music that is added in postproduction mixed with the ambient sound (e.g.: music and the sound of the cars) and the sound motiff is the music added in postproduction that is associated with the character.
• The use of diegetic sound using dialogues between the characters and the voiceover used in the last part.

Finally, Im going to describe the mise-en-scene:

• The use in location is the beach and the car.
• The use of high key lighting.
• The use of props is the cars.
